Chart notes
DREWTONIAN dueled outside of COMPRESSED from the outset, took command of the race approaching the quarter pole, then went clear in the stretch under steady handling. P R BULLET settled along the rail just behind the dueling leaders, came out a path in upper stretch and finished well to gain the place while no threat to the winner. COMPRESSED duelded inside of DREWTONIAN through the early stages, gave way at the quarter pole and was outfinished for second. STRETCH raced in mid-pack down the backstretch, made a four-wide bid from the five-sixteenths, finished with some interest but was not doing enough in the final furlong. ESSENTIAL TIME was outpaced from the start, trailed the field to the stretch, then managed to pass one rival before the finish line. AWESOME NAME was off a step slow, chased the main pack to the stretch and faded in the late stages.
