SCHIFTY'S HALOID took back after the start and settled at the rear of the main pack early on, was last but not far from the front heading into the turn, moved out midway on the turn, swept past the field five-wide into the stretch, and finished best, going clear in the final yards. FIRST PLAYER settled in mid-pack through the far turn, launched a four-wide bid from the three-furlong pole, and finished well to be second-best. JUSTICE DEPARTMENT broke awkwardly to be well off the leaders at the rear of the field, commenced a steady, long drive on the turn, and finished with a late gain in the middle of the track to be up for the show. C'MON CHAOS got to the front on the first turn, slowed the pace, turned for home with a slight lead, but gave way before mid-stretch. BOURBON CURIOSITY raced mid-pack through the first half-mile, moved out a path late on the backstretch run, then launched a bid to challenge C'MON CHAOS on the far turn, but was outkicked in the late stages. CLASSICALLY tracked close up inside to the far turn, lacked a clear path until the stretch, tipped out two wide but faltered in the final furlong. START MO UP tracked close up three-wide to the far turn, then weakened two furlongs from home. MORTIFY was held up at the back to the outside of SCHIFTY'S HALOID, was let loose after passing the half, became boxed in midway through the turn, then was outkicked in the final furlong. THERE WAS A STEWARDS INQUIRY INTO THE CROWDING INTO THE CLUBHOUSE TURN, AFER A FEW A REVIEW, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
