Chart notes
NITROGEN away in good order, stalked the pace three to four wide through the first turn, continued to prompt the issue up the backstretch while outside, crept closer and challenged three wide midway on the final turn, dueled into the lane, drifted out a bit nearing midstretch, was righted, roused and kicked away from the runner up in the final sixteenth under continued steady handling. NERAZURRI broke forwardly and dueled past the wire the first time, took back and crossed to the outside of the other speed midway on the first turn,pressed that one up the backstretch, moved to take over just before the winner came calling in the second bend, dueled inside that one into the stretch, continued to hold a slight advantage with a furlong to run, failed to match strides in the late going while clearly second best. QUIETSIDE last away when in a bit tight, tracked the issue from along the inside for five furlongs, moved out to be three wide when chasing the top pair final turn, had little for that pair in the drive, clear of the others. IN JUST MY HEELS fell back to trail after the start while out in the strip, continued to see them all while three wide into the far turn, picked off a couple of tiring rivals in the drive while failing to make an impact. MISS AUTHENTIC went one paced throughout while racing off the inside, lacked a closing response. ROSE PALACE broke on top, raced on equal terms with the runner up early outside that one, got clear before a quarter while just off the inside, showed the way up the backstretch, briefly responded when confronted by the top pair in the far turn, gave way soon after when headed, continued to retreat through the stretch.
