Chart notes
EL POTENTE set the pace along the inside under pressure from NAMARON (GER), cleared that rival midway around the far turn, spurted away at the top of the stretch and remained well clear under left handed urging and steady handling. GAS ME UP settled at the back, went two wide around the clubhouse turn, pulled into backstretch and ran up on the heels of WATSONVILLE, chased in range four wide leaving the backstretch, quickly moved into the two path, tipped out into the lane and produced a mild rally to best the rest. WATSONVILLE brushed with NAMARON prior to the first turn, rated two then three wide around the bend, coaxed along in the three path on the far turn, could not make any headway on the winner down the stretch and got outkicked for the place honors. LORD BULLINGDON stalked the speed from inside, came under a ride on the far turn, got put in tight when NAMARON came in past the quarter pole and had to put the brakes on, angled out at the top of the stretch and could not regain momentum. NAMARON (GER) prompted the pace from outside to the far turn, failed to keep up with the winner past the five-sixteenths pole, shifted to the rail late on the bend and tired.
