Chart notes
YELLOW CARD chased between rivals then got crowded back to last early, went two wide into the turn, swung out into the lane, rallied widest and drove clear from SORRENTO SKY (IRE) late. SORRENTO SKY (IRE) tracked three deep up the backstretch and around the turn, got floated out by VIRAT while going up to challenge at the eighth pole and got outkicked by YELLOW CARD in the last sixteenth. VIRAT raced up close outside the top pair early then moved into the two path, took light contact from SPEED BOAT BEACH early on the turn, drew alongside FLYOVER with a quarter mile remaining, seized control at the top of the lane, drifted out under left handed urging into the final furlong and flattened in deep stretch. SUMTER chased from inside, lost some ground on the turn, launched a bid from the fence in upper stretch but was no match for the top pair and could not get by VIRAT for the show honors. FLYOVER showed the way outside SPEED BOAT BEACH early, cleared that rival leaving the backstretch and moved inside, confronted by VIRAT at the quarter pole, lost command in upper stretch and weakened in the last sixteenth. SPEED BOAT BEACH pressed FLYOVER from inside to the half-mile pole, failed to keep up leaving the backstretch, drifted out a bit and brushed VIRAT at the three-eighths pole, saved ground through the turn and weakened in the drive. IRISH ROYALTY chased between runners up the backstretch, crept closer two wide on the turn and weakened down the lane.
