Chart notes
SIR BREGOVIC vied for the lead with GODSEND from along the inside, opened a clear lead nearing the eighth pole and prevailed under strong handling. PRINCE PRANCEALOT was reserved off the pace while racing two-wide, came five-wide into the stretch and finished fast. GOOD FOCUS disputed the pace while racing three-wide and held on well during the drive for third. GODSEND vied for the early lead from between horses and weakened. TRACK ROBBER saved ground tracking the pace but lacked a rally. READY TO STORM was unhurried, came two-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. STAYSOBER raced in the back of the field, came three-wide into the stretch and was not a factor. UPRIGHT was prominently placed early racing along the inside and tired.
