Chart notes
DANCING DEVIL tracked inside, angled out to the four path midway around the turn, ranged up to bid from the three path at the top of the lane, dueled with an inner foe while holding a narrow lead entering the final furlong, and held gamely. SPEIGHT AND MALICE vied for the lead along the inside, was roused from the rail passing the quarter, dug in gamely while dueling with an outer rival to the wire, but got edged out by that foe. DENINGTON raced off the pace, was ridden in the three path around the turn, swung out to the six path at the top of the lane, and kept on for show. VICENTE'S SHADOW trailed in the four path, angled out to the six path in upper stretch, and passed tired inner rivals. SHARP LORENZO prompted the pace in the four path but faded in the stretch. BIG BOSS BEN rated in the four path, was coaxed along while angling inside midway around the turn, but made no final bid. GREAT RUNNER dueled between foes in the two path, held a narrow lead while under a drive passing the quarter, but gave way in the stretch. NOISE COMPLAINT chased outside of rivals in the five path but did not threaten. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
