Chart notes
TRIKITRAKI sprinted clear from inside, showed the way two wide around the bend, three wide into the stretch, met bids from rivals on both sides at the top of the lane, battled into deep stretch and gamely prevailed. SMOKIN' HOT brushed leaving the gate, stalked outside a rival then three deep into the turn, took aim four wide leaving the bend, challenged three deep through the lane and could not get by the winner. TIME THE AVENGER chased from off the rail then angled to the inside on the backstretch, saved ground through the turn, bid from the fence at the top of the lane, battled into the last sixteenth and could not summon the needed late kick. BLUE MAX chased from well off the rail out of range early, took the turn four wide, finished willingly down the lane but needed to find more. I'LL FIGURE IT OUT saved ground from off the pace and offered a mild response to improve position and whittle the gap on the leaders in the stretch. STAY THIRSTY AMIGO trailed up the backstretch, rounded the bend in the three path, angled out into the lane and was never a factor. GRACE AND GLORY brushed outer rival in the beginning, chased from the two path and weakened in the drive.
