Chart notes
VIBRANT EXPRESS showed speed then set the pace on the inside of a foe while off the rail, dropped to the inside leaving the backstretch, vied along the rail on the turn, was asked inside the five-sixteenths pole, shook clear near the quarter-pole, came under the crop in upper stretch and drew off under steady urging to prove much the best. BEARY FUNNY broke out at the start, was urged along off the pace, moved closer with five furlongs to run, was asked while inside on the turn, chased in the two path into the stretch, pursued the winner in the drive and was second best. MASTER FREUD lost his footing at the start but broke towards the front, chased the pace down the backstretch, went around the turn in the two then three path, spun into the stretch in the four path and weakened but was clear for the show. FACTUALLY CORRECT showed speed on the outside then pressed the pace, vied in the two path on the turn, was given his cue near the five-sixteenths pole, dropped back in the three path into upper stretch and tired. SHERIFF BIANCO dropped back early, moved closer with five furlongs to run, was urged along in the three then two path on the turn and failed to respond. ROLLIN IN DOUGH was urged along on the inside of a foe, dropped from the four path to the three path early on the turn and had nothing left. RUNANDSCORE was urged along on the outside, dropped from the five path to the four path early on the turn, moved in some into upper stretch and also failed to respond. DOLLY'S BANK was urged along at the rear, moved from the three path to the five path on the turn, drifted inward in upper stretch and showed little.
