Chart notes
ELLS was forwardly placed before making a two wide bid near the three furlong marker and ran down the leader to be up in the final jumps. EMERALD EXPRESS settled in the middle of the pack around the first turn then advanced from three wide through the final turn for a rally but was too late. NATIVE STAR broke sharply to go to the front to set all the pace while being pressured around the first turn then drew clear through the final turn but was caught in the final jumps. INSIGNIS settled in the middle of the pack while saving ground down the backstretch then made a two wide bid on the final turn, tipping out to three wide in upper stretch and showed late interest to improve his position. MOBSTER GUN raced near the back down the backstretch then moved up from three wide on the final turn but was outkicked in the stretch. SMOOTHDINI hustled to the front to press the pace from two wide to the final turn and slowly faded. SECULAR STAGNATION raced off the pace down the backstretch then gave way on the final turn and tired. FORT BONZ raced four wide into the first turn, trailed the field throughout and was outrun.
