BE HERE NOW challenged for the early lead, drove clear around the final turn, pulled away and was ridden out. SARANAC LAKE unhurried in the beginning, had an outside trip, made a steady gain, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. PRACTICALITY vied for the early advantage, weakened, proved no match for the top two, but held on for third. MISSION BELLE raced in the middle of the field in the beginning, faded and was no factor. BOLD EXAGGERATION raced near the back, saved ground around the final turn, lacked a kick and was outrun.
