Chart notes
PROPRIETARY TRADE stalked in the three path, was cued midway around the turn, bid while being carried out to the five path at the top of the lane, took the lead while drifting inwards passing the furlong grounds, and drew clear while continuing to drift towards the rail in the final sixteenth. FIVE O' SOMEWHERE tracked inside, was coaxed along in the two path around the turn, ran on to bid inside of an outer duo passing the eighth pole, steadied around the sixteenth, but was second best. SWEET AS SIN was wellback in the four path, improved under a ride in the five path around the turn, and kept on in the six path down the lane for show. UNCASHED set the pace in the two path, rounded the turn under a nudge, floated out to the four path at the top of the stretch, lost the lead while getting herded into the two path nearing the eighth pole, but yielded around the sixteenth. GOLDEN LUNA pressed the pace inside, was cued at the top of the lane, but gave way. SITKA rated in the four path but never threatened. DAZZLEMESILVER always trailed from around the three path. AFTER A STEWARDS INQUIRY LOOKING AT THE STRETCH RUN, NO CHANGES WERE MADE AS THE STEWARDS DETERMINED THAT EVEN THOUGH PROPRIETARY TRADE DRIFTED IN TO THE PATHS OF AN INNER PAIR DOWN THE STRETCH, IT DID NOT COST THAT DUO A CHANCE OF A BETTER PLACING.
