Chart notes
GREAT KING (FR) stalked A VIEW FROM ABOVE racing two-wide, ran that one down to take the lead nearing the eighth pole and gradually drew clear. A VIEW FROM ABOVE saved ground setting the pace, responded when challenged by GREAT KING but was no match for that one while proving to be second best. SHACKLEFORD STRONG saved ground while being forwardly placed and finished well for third in a steady effort. STAR ENTRY was unhurried early, came five-wide into the stretch and rallied late. HAIL STATE settled in the middle of the field, came five-wide into the stretch and went evenly late. SNAP COUNT was off a step slow then raced in the back of the field, rallied four-wide into the stretch and was gaining late. XTREME MAYHEM was off a step slow then saved ground racing in the middle of the field, came three-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. DRILL'S LI'L MAN saved ground while being allowed to settle and failed to seriously threaten. RACER REX was forwardly placed early racing two-wide and weakened during the drive. TOUGH AS AN OX was close-up early racing along the inside, came two-wide into the stretch and tired. ROPER saved ground while being unhurried and was not a factor. EREBUS dropped back early, came three-wide into the stretch and failed to menace.
