KYLE'S MOM chased along the inside coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled outside MOON GATE near the quarter pole and was carried out five wide by that rival when she went four wide into upper stretch, came in under a right handed crop in tandem with that foe straightened away engaging MOON GATE in head to head combat, brushed that rival just outside the eighth pole, then dug in gamely to prevail on the wire. MOON GATE vied inside a pair of rivals while along the inside through to the nine-sixteenths before shaking away to sole command half a mile from home, continued along the rail through the turn and came under pressure near the quarter pole, swung four wide into upper stretch carrying her main danger five wide, then came inwards in concert with KYLE'S MOM straightened away before being brushed by that rival just outside the eighth pole when headed narrowly for command, dug in dueling through to the finish in game fashion but was ultimately bested on the line. AH CA IRA chased along the inside until tipped to the two path at the seven-sixteenths marker, came under encouragement three furlongs out, spun two to three wide for home and offered up a mild kick. SANTAGATA vied with a pair of rivals from the three path through to the nine-sixteenths marker, then chased just off the inside coming under a ride three furlongs out, faded through the latter portion of the turn, swung three wide into upper stretch, weakened while passing more tired rivals through to the finish. AMITY ISLAND chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, tired. TOXIC GIRL chased two then three wide under a ride from the three-eighths pole, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch, tired. GREGORIAN SOLO chased five then four wide under encouragement from three furlongs out, went eight wide into upper stretch and tired. SHE'S COMPLICATED veered out at the break, then advanced stoutly to vie outside a pair of rivals through to the nine-sixteenths, tucked three wide into the turn and came under urging at the five-sixteenths, swung four wide for home and tired through to the finish. There was a Stewards' Inquiry into the stretch run focusing on the top two finishers. After review, the result was allowed to stand before the race was declared official.
