Chart notes
RIPTON'S MUSIC after breaking a bit flat footed quickly recovered and showed good speed to vie for command along the inside, moved off the inside leaving the quarter pole and came three to four wide off the bend while shaking clear, then was put to a vigorous hand ride and then was ridden out in the final sixteenth to prove best. MCMULLEN pressed the pace and made a three to four wide bid by the quarter pole to vie for command, then was floated five wide off the turn by the winner and fought on willingly but had to settle for being clearly second best. NOBLE PRINCE was settled early three to two wide and came three wide into the lane, angled out nearing the furlong marker and had a belated rally to gain the show award. ARAUCANO was out-sprinted early on the inside, advanced on the inside and cut the corner leaving the turn but flattened out in the final sixteenth and lost the show award late. IDENTITY CRISIS vied for the lead in between rivals to the quarter pole then weakened in the drive. BUCCHERO'S DUDE raced on the inside early and stopped.
