Chart notes
CLOVISCONNECTION broke out and bothered outer rival at the start, tracked four wide to quarter, dueled RYVIT into the stretch, shook free into the final sixteenth and proved best late. NEIMAN stalked three wide to the turn, lost position nearing the quarter marker, swung widest to upper stretch and re-rallied four wide into the lane, was gaining late and held safely for second. RYVIT contested pace between two wide into the turn, met the bid of CLOVISCONNECTION into upper stretch, yielded late and held for third. KATONAH bothered start, settled inside, angled out stretch, no final kick. AUGUSTA MELODY showed speed, dueled pace inside, gave way stretch.
