Chart notes
JACOBI settled well, lodged a four wide bid on the turn, was angled in entering the stretch, moved out three wide at the furlong marker to take aim on the embattled top pair, rallied and was going away at the finish. BOSABROTHER stalked the pacesetter while three wide, drew even leaving the turn, hung in the stretch, lugged in just inside of the eighth pole under right-handed pressure, bumped PLUM TUFF twice and kept on while no match. PLUM TUFF led early, dueled into the stretch, was bumped twice in the late going and stayed on. EL MEXICANO chased while five wide, moved six wide into the stretch and finished willingly. BUCKEYE MIKE saved ground but offered no contending bid. HE IS DYNAMIC hopped at the start, was brushed early and showed some mild late interest. DYNAMIC GIFT chased the pacesetter, lost his position on the turn and was no factor thereafter. TURKODANCER void of speed, was swung out seven wide in upper stretch and kept on. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE RIDER OF PLUM TUFF FILED AN OBJECTION ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH RUN AGAINST THE RIDER OF BOSA BROTHER. AFTER REVIEWING VIDEOTAPED REPLAYS, THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED BOSA BROTHER FOR INTERFERENCE AND HE WAS PLACED THIRD.
