SUNDAY SPIRIT dueled inside for the lead, dueled on the far turn, shook free in upper stretch, dug in gamely in the final sixteenth and narrowly held on in a game effort. HERMOSO HOMBRE raced off the pace, came wide into the stretch, rallied late outside, surged in deep stretch and just missed at the wire. DREAMING OF GERRY was bumped at the start, trailed the field, advanced on the turn, angled out entering the stretch, rallied past midstretch, surged late one from the outside and dug in gamely to the finish. SILENT MODE stalked two wide, chased on the turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, bid and dueled to the wire. I FEELUCKY TONITE raced three wide early, settled off the pace, chased four wide on the far turn and lacked a stretch rally. PEEK stalked three wide, chased three wide on the turn and weakened. PREACH IT WARRIOR bobbled at the break, raced three wide early, dueled two wide for the lead, dueled on the far turn, dug in to midstretch, then faded. ALWAYS GAMBLING was bumped at the start, tracked on the inside, chased inside on the far turn and gave way.
