Chart notes
COULD BE A COUGAR quickly took control in hand then widened in the stretch and remained clear while never threatened. SISTER EVE outrun early, split rivals advancing on the turn and closed well. ALWAYS LAUGHING saved ground off the leaders and continued willingly. LADY ANNABELLE raced in closest pursuit of the pacesetter and flattened out late. AMBITIOUSLY PLACED trailed initial half mile then steadied briefly in tight nearing the sixteenth pole while no factor. SOCIETY BALL chased off the pace three wide and gave way readily. A claim of foul by the fifth finisher against the third finisher for interference in the stretch was dismissed.
