Chart notes
WASHITA VALLEY pressed two deep outside of rival, narrow lead through the far turn and edged away late under steady handling. K Q SPIRIT dropped back to raced mid pack, saved ground through the far turn, split rivals deep stretch two deep and rallied up for the place position. ATREIDESREFLECTION stalked the top pair, raced three wide through the far turn and kept on willingly to the wire. HOWBOUTCHA set a pressured early pace along the inside and weakened a bit the final eighth of a mile. WORK ZONE bobbled at the break, quickly recovered, raced wide down the backstretch and never threatened. DERBY DAY raced from the inside through the far turn, angled out into the upper stretch, lost ground to race far back and showed little. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction, and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
