Chart notes
ENVELOPE PLEASE raced in striking position while four wide, gained steadily on the turn, responded to steady pressure and edged clear in the stretch. MAN'S CHOICE outpaced five wide, commenced a bid on the turn and rallied while five wide in the stretch. REDDEN set a contested pace in the two path, was headed approaching quarter pole and proved no match late. NATIONAL STORY edgy beforehand in the starting gate, leaned out at the start, bumped A VAN ON THE RUN, was settled soon after and lodged a mild five wide stretch bid. STORMED OUT raced forwardly along the inside, lodged a bid on the turn, was angled three wide at the furlong marker and kept on. A VAN ON THE RUN bumped at the start, was void of speed but displayed mild late interest. TAHLEQUAH JOE was never involved. DRILL'S BOY had a wide trip and was no factor.
