Chart notes
MISS METOYER went to the front to co-lead from the inside to near the three furlong marker then drew clear going into the final turn and was an easy winner. SPUN SILK pressed the pace from the inside to the first turn then settled in the middle of the pack around the final turn and made a rail bid in the stretch to be second best. ST. TAMMANY was unhurried through the first turn the moved up from four wide down the backstretch, tipped in to two wide on the final turn and rallied for the show. HURRICANE KATE went to the front to co-lead from two wide to the three furlong marker then chased the leader around the final turn and tired. SHESABEAST was allowed to settled while saving ground around the first turn then moved up from three wide down the backstretch, tipped out to four wide in upper stretch but lacked the late response. PARKIN LOT PARTY tracked the leaders around the first turn then dropped back and was outrun.
