Chart notes
ACADEMIC FREEDOM reserved early, commenced her bid on the turn, was swung five wide into the stretch, rallied determinedly, was bothered by the runner up in the last seventy yards but prevailed. RUN ON CANDY seized command from the outset, held well into stretch, dug in gamely, bore out late, brushed the eventual winner and was worn down. LADY MIDSHIPMAN edgy in the starting gate beforehand, was brushed at the start by the errant SCARY JERRY but managed belated inside bid along the rail. OLIVE ON TOP was forwardly placed, never reached contention but kept on for a minor share. SCARY JERRY lunged in at the start brushing a rival and displayed some late interest. ALLATOU chased the pacesetter along the inside, stalked around the turn but came up empty in the stretch. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED A BRIEF INQUIRY AND MADE NO CHANGES.
