Chart notes
SHIELDMEWITHPRAYER got a good position into the first turn, pressed three-wide down the backstretch, pressed the lead past the three-furlong pole, was overtaken by ABSOLUTE MIRACLE before the stretch, came back on to re-engage that rival in upper stretch, dueled relentlessly to the finish line, and got a head in front late and just held on at the wire. ABSOLUTE MIRACLE hopped and came away from the gate very awkwardly, making contact with GRACIE DANCE at the start, settled in the back half of the field early, then made a bid middle move three-wide to reach contention early on the turn, swept to the lead before the quarter pole, then battled a resurgent SHIELDMEWITHPRAYER through the stretch, yielded the lead inside the sixteenth marker, then came back on in the final jumps to just miss. DREAMING OF AUDREY tracked behind the leading trio to the far turn, kept on well while keeping to the inside. TIZ INDEPENDENCE broke outward into the outside rival at the start, was two-deep in the early pace mix, struggled to keep pace late on the far turn, then chugged on through the stretch while racing on the wrong lead. GRACIE DANCE settled in the back half of the field early and went evenly in the late stages. LATE NITE LIZZIE settled near the back of the field and locked a finish. PRINCESS HALIME seized the early lead from the break, took the field to the far turn, then gave way before the stretch. MRS. MACOMBER was unhurried from the break, raced well off the rail at the back, and never threatened.
