Chart notes
DIRECT APPEAL settled kindly into stride just off the topflight four wide down the backside, took aim same four deep placing into the lane, on even terms outside KATMANDU, nearing the sixteenth marker, wore that one down under an all-out drive. KATMANDU stalked the leader in hand two wide down the back stretch, given the queue took control leaving the quarter pole, inside rival through the final sixteenth, dug in gamely nipped at the wire. MR ON HIGH broke sharp, set the pace along the rail into the final turn, collared leaving the quarter pole, stayed on willingly to secure the show. BAD LINEAGE saved ground through the early stages, worked into striking position between runners down the backside, under urging leaving the furlong marker, evened out to the wire. ALIGN shuffled back at the start, rated well back into the far turn, had no late punch. BIG DILEMMA rated around the first two turns, scrubbed along to keep pace nearing the three eighths marker, came up empty. INDY MAGIC raced mid-pack just the rail down the backside, bid in a clean pocket off the pace leaving the quarter pole, weakened through the stretch. BIG JOE B pressed around the first two turns, faltered through the stretch.
