Chart notes
WAREISTHELUTE broke a step slowly, hustled to stalk the early pace three wide, vied for the lead to mid-stretch, took command into the final furlong and kicked clear late. POQUITO LADY showed good early speed, set a contested pace from the inside into the turn, battled to mid-stretch, yielded to the winner in the late stages and was second best. TWIST 'N SPORT lugged out then was shuffled back at the start, chased two wide and between foes nearing the quarter pole, needed more into the stretch drive but ran on in the final sixteenth and got up for third. GIULIANO'S SONG was pinballed and jostled at the start, chased three then four wide heading to the quarter marker, ran in pursuit while on the left lead into the stretch, could not find more to the final sixteenth and just missed for third. HES HIGH OH SILVER broke slowly and settled outside of rivals early, chased four then three wide to upper stretch and lacked the needed late response. GEEBEESBIGBOY broke slowly, settled and saved ground to the turn, coaxed two wide to upper stretch, was caught in traffic into the final sixteenth and could not muster the needed late response. AMERICAN CLASS hustled away from the gate, pressed the early pace two wide and between foes, battled to mid-stretch, could not keep pace to the final sixteenth and gave way. GIRVINITALLSHESGOT rated off of the early pace and tracked from the inside heading into the turn, chased from the rail nearing the quarter marker, was outkicked to upper stretch then weakened in the lane. BODY DOUBLE got bumped at the start then was caught in traffic to the turn, chased three wide to the quarter pole, could not keep pace to upper stretch and trailed the rest of the way.
