Chart notes
THIRD STREET broke in at the start, showed speed and contested the early pace between foes, led into upper stretch then met the bid of TED at mid-stretch, dug in while holding off that rival into the final sixteenth and lasted for the win. TED got bumped by an outer rival at the start, tracked the contested pace to the quarter marker, bid four wide to upper stretch, confronted THIRD STREET at the furlong pole, could not get by the determined winner in deep stretch and was a clear second. JEEPS STRIDE hopped at the start then settled off of the early pace, bid four to five wide at the quarter marker, was outkicked in the lane and held safely for third. DANCE MAN pressed the early pace four deep, vied for the lead to upper stretch, yielded in the final furlong. CERVEZA raced close up to the early pace then took back, swung widest to upper stretch and advanced at the furlong marker, flattened out in the final sixteenth. DADDY WHAT IF broke slowly, coaxed two wide to the quarter marker, angled to the rail into upper stretch, improved position late. KING BRYCE settled while saving ground early, angled out to upper stretch, needed more late. MALIBU RAIN pressed the early pace between foes and three wide, disputed the pace to the quarter marker, gave way in the lane. BETTOR TRIP NICK sent, contested the pace from the inside to the quarter marker, faded stretch. IOWA HAWKEYE was off slowly and lacked early speed, saved ground to the stretch and did not factor. LORD WIMBORNE (IRE) hopped at the start, lacked early speed, was outrun to the quarter marker, eased through the lane and walked off.
