Chart notes
TRIGGER POINT forced the early pace, gained the lead leaving the turn, dueled in the final furlong, responded gamely to brisk pressure and got the nod. COLONEL VARGO led early, was challenged on the turn, was headed soon after, fought back gamely in the stretch and narrowly missed. JOHN'S ROCK chased the pace while racing along the inside rail, remained inside throughout and kept on. ATKINS was outpaced while three wide early, moved four wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. TIME THE AVENGER raced forwardly just off of the inside rail, commenced a bid on the turn, offered a five wide bid but was empty late.
