FIELDING stumbled at the start, quickly recovered, gained a narrow early lead, responded to pressure in the and edged clear in the final furlong. FRACTURE raced in striking position while three wide, advanced on the turn, was angled in during the stretch, raced along the rail for the final furlong and proved no match. ABUNDANT ENERGY forwardly placed, lost his position on the turn, was swung four wide into the stretch, kept on but posed no threat to the principles. ALL ABOUT CROGE was outpaced while racing along the inside and never involved.
