Chart notes
TAKE A CHANCE INDY was urged clear soon after the break then ceded to an inner rival heading to the five eighths, stayed in touch while coaxed along three to four wide outside foes exiting the far turn, ranged up and rebid nearing the quarter pole, shook clear under a drive leaving the three sixteenths then was fully extended to prevail. RAPPORTEUR , sluggish early, was urged saving ground mid turn, cut the corner into the lane and finished gamely inside the winner. ANOTHER LIFER broke outward, was ridden along off the rail while well off the early pace, gathered steam two wide into the stretch, altered out past the three sixteenths, remained on his left lead and closed steadily. SON OF CUPID moved up to the inside of rivals to take over leaving the half, edged away a bit past the three eighths, dug in when joined from the outside, battled into the lane, chased on two wide past the furlong grounds and faded. LUCKY TIGER , forwardly placed four wide outside a trio of foes, was scrubbed along four wide mid turn but failed to generate a run. AL'S BIG BOY was sent up to wide and to the inside of the winner to take the lead nearing the five eighths, ceded to an inner foe leaving the half, pressed under a ride around the turn, failed to kick near mid stretch and weakened.
