Chart notes
JAMESONS CHALK was the only entrant not involved in the early pace, settled behind, but not far from the leader, came out a path for the run through the far turn then four-wide into the stretch and finished best of all to win clear in the late stages. CAPTAIN FLATTER raced close up in the second pair to the inside, took advantage of a big opening along the rail into the stretch, finished up well but could not hold off the winner. EL PROTONICO was three-wide and never far back through the early stages, engaged in the three-way battle down the stretch but was not doing enough in the final furlong. MAX'S LUCKY BLING was roused at the break and sent aggressively for the lead, maintained a narrow margin to the far turn, the caved in under pressure before the stretch. FIVE WIDE tracked two or three wide not far from the front, made a mild bid into the far turn but faltered before the quarter pole and came up empty in the stretch. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
