Chart notes
TAKE CHARGE CANDY bumped inside foe at the start, tracked the early pace four wide, steadily advanced up the backstretch to contest the lead in the far turn, continued to duel with SIP'N'SPEED down the stretch and was able to put a head in front just in time. SIP'N' SPEED pressed the early pace in the two path, took command approaching the three eighths, was contested midway through the far turn by TAKE CHARGE CANDY, dueled down the stretch until giving way late for a gamely finish. PRINCESS OPAL bumped outside foe at the start, trailed through the first turn, moved up off the pace in the backstretch, picked off one more rival in the far turn, no match for the top two. BULLS N BERRY was a bit fractious in the gate, took a slight hop at the start but rushed to the early lead, backed off entering the first turn and trailed by the eleven sixteenths, passed retreating rival at the quarter, made more progress in the stretch. TOVIA took charge along the inside entering the first turn, continued under pressure from SIP'N'SPEED, relinquished the lead approaching the three eighths, retreated then on, eased across.
