Chart notes
KING AND COUNTRY made all the pace, was kept in the two path through the stretch, responded to a challenger on his inside in mid stretch and held sway. DINERO DE LA CASA chased the winner, hugged the inner rail in the stretch, moved up in narrow quarters in mid stretch and finished gamely. STETSONSNSTILETTOS , four deep the first turn, chased the winner from the three path on the far turn and faded. REGARDING HARRY , four wide the first turn, offered a mild, three move on the far turn and failed to sustain the bid. KNOCKOUT GUY saved ground the first turn, raced between horses entering the backstretch and leveled off. SMILING CAPOTE , fractious behind the starting gate, was outrun and swung wide entering the stretch. DANDY DAY , wide the far turn, was outrun. LIBERTY WOLF steadied leaving the first turn, was not a factor. An objection by the trainer of DINERO DE LA CASA against the winner for alleged interference in the stretch was not allowed. There was a stewards' inquiry concerning the stretch run but no action was taken.
