Chart notes
SWIFT WATERS rated off the pace around the first turn, took aim circled four wide leaving the quarter pole, running on the wrong lead under an all-out drive, nailed inside foe in the final jumps. ROMANTIC WARRIOR bumped start, pressed the pace two wide into the far turn, urged along leaving the quarter pole, took a slim lead into the lane, inside rival through the final sixteenth, dug in gamely, edged out under the wire. FIBER PROOF tracked the pace three wide into the far turn, roused on between runners leaving the furlong marker, worked inside leaving the sixteenth post, finished willingly for the show. TOWN HOT outrun into the far turn, bid four wide upper, improved position late. BARSOOM bumped at the start, tracked the leader inside into the far turn, under pressure leaving the furlong marker, flattened out through the final stages. AYE DIRECT hustled up into the first turn, set the pace along the rail down the backside, herded approaching the furlong marker, weakened through the stretch.
