RACE DAY REBAL stalked along the inside before moving to the two path entering the backstretch, bid two wide around the far turn, led at the quarter pole, maintained an advantage while failing to kick clear through midstretch, got collared by an outer pair at the sixteenth pole, dug in but got bested in the shadow of the wire. HOLD YOUR APPLAUSE settled in the two path, took the far turn in the four path, fanned to the six path into the lane then stayed on mildly. DRIFTWOOD set the pace tucking to the inside around the first turn, got headed by an outer bidder turning for home, kept on through midstretch but yielded in the final sixteenth. ENGLISH CHALLENGE broke slowly, raced at the rear along the inside then moved up between horses. SAGITTARIUS lacked speed in the three path, fanned out to the seven path into the lane and failed to factor. ASSIDUOUSLY (GB) broke slowly, raced at the rear in the three path and got outrun. ROSE'S PEPINO lacked speed along the inside then was done early.
