Chart notes
MISSION BEACH broke outwardly, chased the contested pace while three wide, was swung out five wide for the stretch run, rallied strongly and prevailed under a drive. DEPARTURE outrun while four wide, advanced on the turn, continued four wide into the stretch and finished well. KAUAI DAN reserved early in last, commenced his bid on the turn and made a belated stretch bid to gain a minor share. COASTAL JAZZ dueled early, lost the lead on the turn but kept on in the stretch. SAWASDEE dueled early, took over on the turn, was headed at the quarter pole and faded. DIAMOND RIM saved ground and lacked a rally.
