Chart notes
MY YELLOWSTONE assumed early command, set a moderate pace to the quarter marker, led while off of the rail into upper stretch, kept to task into the final furlong and held safely in the late stages. JASMINE BABY tracked the early pace from the outside, chased the pacesetter two wide nearing the quarter marker, ran in pursuit to upper stretch then angled in at the furlong marker, could not make headway on the winner into the final sixteenth and was a clear second best. LEONAS GIRL broke a bit slowly, rushed up along the backstretch and was well placed to the turn, chased three wide to the quarter pole, shifted four wide to upper stretch, needed more into the final sixteenth but fought on late to earn the show. SAPELLO SWEETEE lunged then broke in at the start and was off slowly, rushed up inside of rivals early on and chased the pace heading to the turn, was well placed to the quarter marker, lacked the needed response while two wide to upper stretch, lacked a final response in deep stretch and just missed for third. RUNAWAY GODDESS showed speed and contested the early pace from between rivals, got shuffled back into the turn, chased three wide to upper stretch, fought on into the final furlong but could not muster the needed late response. STRIKE THE SENSES hopped at the start, settled off of the early pace then advanced outside of rivals heading to the turn, loomed three to four wide at the quarter pole, ran in pursuit to mid-stretch then weakened in the final stages. SOPHISTICAT got crowded then bumped at the start then was rank in the early stages, waited behind runners into the turn, saved ground to upper stretch and did not offer the needed response in the stretch. LENDA HAND settled off of the early pace, asked for run four wide to upper stretch, trailed to the furlong grounds and did not factor late.
