Chart notes
SHIPSHEWANA tracked the pace inside down the back stretch, eased off the pace nearing the three eighths marker, swung out four wide into the lane, running on the wrong lead, went clear under an all-out drive. SHADY NIGHTS easily swept to the front leaving the first turn, set the fractions down the back side, vied inside leaving the quarter pole, lost a step in upper stretch, re-bid through the final sixteenth, chased in for the place. MARMARA stumbled at the start, raced between runners throughout, finished willingly for the show. SMALL TOWN HEROINE broke alertly, tracked the pace into the far turn, took aim four wide around the second bend, had no late impact. LADY GIULIANA propped wheeled inward at the start, stalked inside around the first turn, steadily retreated down the backside.
