Chart notes
PERFECT ANGEL broke very sharp, set the pace around the turn, under steady urging kicked away leaving the sixteenth marker. KONTIKI broke step slow, chased the pace four wide into the lane, no match from the sixteenth marker, stayed on willingly for the place. ALL PEPPED UP broke alertly, chased three wide around the turn, running on the wrong lead through the stretch, evened out held clear for the show. MISS ELECKTRA chased the leaders inside around the turn, clean rail trip through the stretch, never fired late. STRIKING LADY pressed between runner into the turn, under pressure leaving the quarter pole, weakened through the stretch. DUNN'S RIVER awkward start, roused off the pace five wide around the turn, never threatened. THERE WAS A STEWARD'S INQUIRY LOOKING INTO THE START, AFTER REVIEW THE RESUKT STOOD OFFICIAL, NO CHANGE.
