Chart notes
KIRBY DERBY stalked in the two path, bid inside of the leader at the three furlong pole, dueled with that one into deep stretch and edged ahead. UPWARD MOBILITY set a clear pace in the three path, got collared by an inner bidder at the three furlong pole, dueled with that one thereafter but got bested. FREE AGAIN raced off of the pace in the five to six path then stayed on willingly. AMERICAN EMPIRE tracked from the four to five path into the backstretch, pursued within striking range around the far turn then gave way. SHARP STICK stalked in the four path, then within range among foes into the far turn but faded. HOLCOMBE trailed in the two path then made little impact. WE NEED MARKETING pursued along the inside early on, moved out to the six path down the backstretch, hung wide around the far turn the tired.
