Chart notes
SEE SPOT RUN vied for the lead inside outer trio up the backstretch, yielded at the three-eighths pole, steered out and chased four wide turning for home, came back and latched onto FLORIDA GATOR with a furlong remaining, dug in under right handed urging and edged the runner-up. FLORIDA GATOR broke in but was corrected quickly, vied four deep early, three deep on the turn, took over in upper stretch, resisted into the last sixteenth and yielded grudgingly to the winner. SCRATCHOFF vied three deep between runners up the backstretch, carried a narrow lead into the turn, fought between rivals in the two path past the three-eighths pole, relinquished the lead in upper stretch, stayed on to midstretch, then flattened in the last sixteenth. MSHINDI vied between rivals to the turn, along the rail past the three-eighths pole, failed to keep up with the top pair late on the bend and weakened in the drive. BONGINO was off slow in the beginning, trailed two wide into the turn, exited the bend in the three path and was never a factor.
