Chart notes
PASTERO trailed the field, moved up at the quarter pole, came wide, circled the field, commenced a strong run outside rivals, charged to the front and kicked clear under urging. GENTLEMAN DON raced off the pace, moved up at the quarter pole, angled out entering the stretch, rallied outside and came up second best. GUNMAN JAYVO vied between rivals, dueled on the turn, drifted out in front of CRAIGH NA DUN at the furlong marker, then dug in to the finish and held third. ALPHADINI stalked the leaders, chased four wide on the turn, bid four wide at the eighth pole and was outkicked. CRAIGH NA DUN vied three wide for the lead, dueled on the turn, was weakening, steadied slightly behind GUNMAN JAYVO at the furlong marker, then angled in and continued evenly. TAP THE DEVIL chased inside, chased on the turn, was in tight on the rail entering the stretch, angled out, then steadied lacking room behind horses nearing the sixteenth marker. POP NEIGH vied inside for the lead, dueled on the turn and tired. Jockey Objections by the rider of CRAIGH NA DUN against GUNMAN JAYVO and TAP THE DEVIL against CRAIGH NA DUN along with a Stewards' Inquiry were posted after the race. After reviewing the video, GUNMAN JAYVO was disqualified and placed fifth for interference at the eighth pole.
