Chart notes

GOD OF WINE brushed with an outer rival at the start, tracked along the inside, progressed in the four path around the far turn to bid outside of the leader entering the lane then drove clear. GARDEN LEAVE brushed with an inner foe leaving the gate, settled in the three path, chased in the five path turning for home, ran on between horses into the final furlong, changed to his right lead at the sixteenth pole then edged place. PATROLMAN trailed along the inside, improved in the six path turning for home, rallied widest to offer a bid for place in the final sixteenth but was fended off. BET ON BRET set a pressured pace along the inside, drew clear rounding the far turn, but got collared by an outer bidder while leaning out to the three path entering the lane then yielded. SNOW KING pressed three wide, chased the clearing leader around the far turn, got outkicked for place at the quarter pole then weakened. ICONIC ROCK lacked speed near the inside then saved ground around the far turn to no avail. MY BOY ROCKY prompted two wide and between horses then faded at the three furlong pole.
