SICILIAN STYLE TWO raced in the five path early, settled in the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, fanned out to the seventh path to began a bid passing the quarter pole, improved position, was forced to take up in the final furlong when DAME MAUDE CHARDIN drifted into her path and kept on from there. MY FINE AQUILINE raced off the pace on the inside through the opening half mile, came around the far turn in the six path, began a bid entering the stretch and improved position to the finish. BEACHES AND PEARLS raced in the two path around the first bend, pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, entered the stretch in the five path and weakened. CANDYMONIUM raced in the three path early, stalked the leaders up the backstretch, navigated the far bend from the four path and faded in the lane. PEARLINTHEROUGH raced in the four path around the first turn, trailed the field on the outside up the backstretch, dropped back further while racing in the two path around the far bend and was not a factor. THE TRAINER OF HORSE SIX, SICILIAN STYLE TWO, CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE FOUR, DAME MAUDE CHARDIN, CITING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS MADE INTO THE SAME INCIDENT.
