Chart notes
DR SCHUSTER raced in the four path around the first turn, led the way on the outside up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the three path and held clear while drifting in the lane. PUFF'SMAGICDRAGON raced in the two path early, settled off the pace on the inside for the run up the backstretch, swung out to the four path to began a bid nearing the quarter pole and gained ground late. COLONEL POPPY raced in the four path around the first bend, settled off the pace on the outside for the run up the backstretch, swung out to the six path coming around the second turn and improved position in the stretch. HEMP HEAVEN tracked the leader on the inside through the opening half mile, navigated the far turn from the two path and faded in the lane. ROYAL DRAGOON saved ground early, trailed the field up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the second bend and made no bid. FIREWATER JAKE raced in the two path around the first turn, chased the leader up the backstretch, dropped back from the three path coming around the far bend and tired from there.
