Chart notes
SAUDI CROWN showed the way in the two path up the backstretch, held a clear advantage while nudged along around the far turn, was cued at the top of the lane, and dug in gamely to hold sway. BENDOOG rated inside, improved while pushed along from the rail around the far turn, cut the corner to bid at the top of the stretch, ran on to sustain that bid into the final furlong, but got repelled by the winner in the final sixteenth. GUN PARTY trailed in the two path, came under a drive midway around the far turn, floated out to the six path at the top of the lane, and finished evenly for show. COOKE CREEK prompted the pace from the four path entering the backstretch, came under pressure from the three path passing the three-eighths pole, but yielded from the four path in the stretch.
