Chart notes
CARNABY vied inside for the early lead, took over, shook free on the turn, responded when roused, drew off and was kept to the task. REAL TALENTED vied two wide for the early lead, chased the winner on the turn, dug in along the inside in the stretch run and held on for second. SCUDETTO raced off the pace inside, advanced at the quarter pole, angled out, rallied mildly outside and missed for the place spot. BACKTRACK chased close up four wide early, then three wide on the turn and weakened. LUCCHESI raced off the rail, off the pace, came five wide into the lane and tired. SMOOTH MOTION chased close up three wide early, came six wide into the lane and faded. RACKET steadied at the start, raced off the pace, then dropped far back.
