Chart notes
OKIRO was reserved early, raced two to four wide on the turn and swung out six to seven wide leaving the turn and closed full of run on the far outside and got up late and edged clear. EXTENDO dueled for the lead and made a bid on the inside to shake clear leaving the turn and was clear by the furlong marker, drifted out leaving the sixteenth marker and was caught while staying on to be second best. MATTINGLY was rated on the outside and raced three to four wide on the turn and came five wide into the lane and was making a bid in the lane but had to check late when the leader drifted out, held show award. SOCIETY'S THUNDER chased the pace along the inside and cut the corner leaving the turn and had a mild late kick on the inside. MASSETO (GB) chased the pace two wide and was in between rivals on the turn and kept on but needed more. TEST FACTOR stalked the pace and made a three to four wide bid off the turn but weakened in the final furlong. MENTEE dueled for the lead two wide and came three wide into the lane but started to fade leaving the turn and steadied in deep stretch. CAIRO CAPER was settled on the outside and raced four to five wide on the turn and came six wide into the lane but had no rally. STEWARDS INQUIRY concerning the number one EXTENDO drifting out inside the furlong grounds, after the STEWARDS reviewed the replays they ruled EXTENDO did drift into the number eight MATTINGLY path he did not cost that horse a placing and left the race as is.
