Chart notes
GLOBETROTTING was forwardly placed racing three-wide, came four-wide into the stretch then gained a slight lead nearing the eighth pole and prevailed. MITOCHONDRIA was unhurried early, rallied five-wide into the stretch and finished strongly. THE CHALK chased SCAREDY CATNESS early racing two-wide, came between horses into the stretch and finished fairly well in a steady effort. SCAREDY CATNESS saved ground setting the pace to the stretch and weakjened. HURRICANES ABLOWIN dwelt at the start to get away behind his field then raced in the back and was unable to recover the lost ground. MONDRICH (GB) saved ground while being allowed to settle then gave way after three furlongs. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START INVOLVING HURRICANS ABLOWIN BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS MADE NO CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF FINISH.
