Chart notes
AGUA FRESCA prompted GRAND GOLDEN ROAD racing two-wide, came four-wide into the stretch racing between rivals and prevailed under strong handling. STELLA E VELOCE was forwardly placed racing three-wide, rallied five-wide into the stretch, gained a slight lead nearing the eighth pole but wasn't quite good enough in a game effort. SAVE THE DATE was allowed to settle, came tjhree-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. GRAND GOLDEN ROAD saved ground setting the pace, drifted out slightly entering the stretch and weakened late. BULLS N BERRY saved ground while being unhurried and failed to be a factor.
